Kitty Kat
by DAVe on Aug.10, 2010, under Blog, Short Stories
Now once there was a Kitty Kat
And she had a million kittens
It took her 12 years to birth them all
Sadly, most of those kittens didn’t survive
But three
And when they were hungry she would make them sing
Momma puss O Momma puss
Give us your milk
It’s the best milk
The greatest milk
And that ain’t no lie
We Need you
We Love you
Don’t let us die
But it wasn’t the best milk or the greatest milk
Oh, maybe in the very beginning it was perfect as mother’s milk could be
But as she heard them sing she began to believe the song
And her milk turned sour
With every line of their song they sang
The sweetness left her heart and milk until nothing remain

I was think about the story I was writing in my head and I knew I would loose the idea as soon as I went back to work. So I was walking and thinking out loud the ideas that came to me. It’s an alternative opening to what I wrote previously for this story. I may use it for something else but what ever happens. Have a look into my thinking process.
